Princesse des Sables is based on authentic experiences Aniko lived in the moroccan Sahara.

She spent some wonderful years in a relationship with the nomad Said, both going back and forth between the worlds of silent desert and a pulsing life in fashion business between Vienna and Paris.

First Aniko wrote a book about their beginnings. Now she is developing the collection „Princesse des Sables“ in collaboration with the Berber women living in the desert. 

Princesse des Sables by Aniko is authentic indigenous handcraft matched with european style.

Designed by Aniko and made in direct cooperation with the women living in the Sahara. Feel individually handmade tye & dye materials. Touch leather tinted with natural plant colors like homegrown Indigo. See embroideries with glass beads, handicraft handed down for generations.

This is Art to wear. Plus it gives the saharian women the possibility to contribute to feed their families as they get direct and fair payment for their hands artwork.

Not only sustainable, this is social fashion.
